Creating a Group
Scenario
In FusionInsight RTD, BLUs are grouped so that containers and configuration sets can be used in a unified manner. BLUs must be included in a group. Typically, BLUs that complete specific services of the same type are placed in the same group.
This section describes how to create a group to which BLUs can be added.
Prerequisites
- The Containers service has been installed.
- The configuration set file of the BLUs to be deployed has been prepared.
Procedure
- Log in to FusionInsight Manager.
- Choose Cluster > Services > Containers. On the page displayed, click Business Manager. Then, click Add Group.
- Enter the group name and description, and click Next.
- (Optional) Configure parameters on the Config Set tab page.
- Enter the configuration set name.
- Enter the description about the configuration set file to be uploaded.
- Click Select File and select the configuration set file in .zip format from the local host.
- The configuration set file name can contain 3 to 128 characters, including numbers, letters, and underscores (_). The file must be in .zip format.
- The file size cannot exceed 300 MB.
- Click Next.
- On the Container tab page, select a container for the group and click Submit.
- A container can only belong to one group. If no idle container is available, add a container to the group by referring to Adding a Container.
- A created group cannot be deleted until the configuration set and BLUs in it are deleted.
