Why Can't I Connect to the Instance After an EIP Is Bound to It?

Possible Cause

The current port has not been enabled in the inbound rules of the security group.

Handling Procedure

  1. Click the instance name to go to the Basic Information page.
  2. In the Network Information area, click the value of the Security Group parameter.

  3. Click the Inbound Rules tab and click Add Rule. Then, specify parameters as shown in the following figure.
