DES provides you with secure, fast, and efficient data transmission service. It solves the problem of massive data migration to the cloud. DES supports two data transmission modes: by Teleport and by disk. Data is uploaded to OBS buckets for storage. Therefore, DES must be used together with OBS. Before using DES, create a bucket in OBS. For details about the relationship between DES and OBS, see Figure 1.
