Procedure
Unbinding an EIP
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select your region and project.
- Locate the row that contains the ECS. Click More in the Operation column and choose Manage Network > Unbind EIP.
- Confirm the EIP information and click Yes.
Binding an EIP
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select your region and project.
- Locate the row containing the target ECS. Click More in the Operation column and select Manage Network > Bind EIP.
- Select the desired EIP and click OK.
Releasing the EIP That Has Been Unbound
An EIP that is not bound to any instance will continue to be billed. If you do not need the EIP any more, perform the following steps to release it:
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
- Click in the upper left corner and choose Networking > Elastic IP.
- In the EIP list, locate the row that contains the EIP to be released and choose More > Release in the Operation column.
A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
- Click Yes in the displayed dialog box.
You can find that the EIP is not in the EIP list.
