Obtaining a Project ID
Scenario
A project ID is required for some URLs when an API is called. You need to obtain a project ID in advance. You can obtain the project ID in either of the following ways:
Obtaining a Project ID by Calling an API
You can obtain a project ID by calling the API used to query projects based on specified criteria. For details, see Querying Project Information.
The API used to obtain a project ID is GET https://{Endpoint}/v3/projects, where {Endpoint} indicates the IAM endpoint. You can obtain the IAM endpoint from Regions and Endpoints. For details about API authentication, see Authentication.
The following is an example response. The value of id is the project ID to be obtained.

Obtaining the Project ID on the Console
- Log in to the management console.
- Click the username and choose My Credentials from the drop-down list.
On the API Credentials page, view the project ID in the project list.
- Click the username and choose My Credential from the drop-down list.
On the My Credentials page, view the project ID (the value in the Project ID column).
