Managing Security Reports

Scenario

This section describes how to manage security reports, including enabling, disabling, downloading, sharing, sending, editing, and deleting security reports.

Managing Security Reports

  1. Log in to the SecMaster console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Security & Compliance > SecMaster.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Workspaces > Management. In the workspace list, click the name of the target workspace.

  5. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Security Situation > Security Reports.

    Enabling/disabling a security report

    On the Reports page, locate the desired report and toggle the slider on or off.

    • If the slider is toggled on, the security report is enabled.
    • If the slider is toggled off, the security report is disabled.

    Editing a security report

    1. On the Security Reports page, locate the target report and click Edit.
    2. (Optional) Edit basic report information.
    3. Click Next: Report Choose. The Report Selection page is displayed.
    4. (Optional) Select the report layout.
    5. Click Finish in the upper right corner.

    Deleting a security report

    1. On the Reports page, locate the desired report and click Delete.
    2. Click Confirm.

    Downloading a security report

    1. On the Security Reports page, click More in the lower right corner of the report you want to download and choose Download from the drop-down list. The report preview page is displayed.
    2. On the report preview page displayed, click Download in the upper part of the page. In the dialog box displayed, select a report format and click OK. The system automatically downloads the report in the format you select to your local PC.

    Sending a security report

    1. On the Security Reports page, click More in the lower right corner of the report you want to send and choose Send from the drop-down list. The report preview page is displayed.
    2. Click Send in the upper part of the preview page.
    3. In the dialog box displayed, configure the recipient information. Then, click Send. The following information needs to be configured:
      • Title: Set the subject of the email for sending the report.
      • Recipient: Add the email address of the recipient.
        • You can add up to 100 email addresses.
        • Separate multiple email addresses with commas (,). Example: test01@example.com,test02@example.com
      • Copy To: Enter the email addresses of other recipients.
        • You can add up to 100 email addresses.
        • Separate multiple email addresses with commas (,). Example: test01@example.com,test02@example.com
      • Remarks: You can provide remarks for the security report.
      • Data Scope: Time range during which the data is reported. You need to configure this parameter only if you select Custom for Schedule. If you use the Daily Report, Weekly Report, or Monthly Report template to generate a report, you do not need to configure this parameter.

    Sharing a security report

    1. On the Security Reports page, click More in the lower right corner of the report you want to share and choose Share from the drop-down list.
    2. In the dialog box displayed, click the copy icon to share the link with others.
    3. Then, click OK to close the dialog box.
