Deleting a Database
Scenarios
You can delete databases that you have created.
Deleted databases cannot be recovered. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
Constraints
Databases cannot be deleted from DB instances that are being restored.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Click
in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service. - On the Instances page, click the target instance name to go to the Overview page.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Databases and Accounts.
- Locate the target database and click Delete in the Operation column.
- In the displayed dialog box, enter DELETE and click OK.
