Deleting a Database Account
Scenarios
You can delete database accounts you have created.
Constraints
- Deleted database accounts cannot be restored. Exercise caution when deleting an account.
- Accounts cannot be deleted from DB instances that are in the process of being restored.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Click
in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service. - On the Instances page, click the target instance name to go to the Overview page.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Databases and Accounts and then click the Accounts tab.
- Locate the target account and choose More > Delete in the Operation column.
- In the displayed dialog box, enter DELETE and click OK.
