Performing Backups

Configuring a Same-Region Backup Policy: If a DB instance fails or its data is damaged, you can restore it from backups to ensure data reliability. You can customize a same-region backup policy as required and then RDS backs up data based on the backup policy you configured. This section describes how to configure a same-region backup policy.
