Setting Permissions

This section describes how to assign permissions for different roles in CodeArts Req. The default roles include the project creator, project manager, developer, test manager, tester, participant, and viewer. You can add new roles as required.
Procedure
- Go to the project details page and choose Settings > Project > Permissions.
- Click Add Role and set permissions for each work item to add a new role.
NOTE:
- Only the project creator, project manager, and test manager can add roles.
- You cannot modify the default permissions of project creators, project managers, test managers, and viewers.
- You can modify the permissions of developers, testers, O&M managers, participants, and newly added roles.
- Modify the operation permissions of a role.
In the navigation tree on the left, click a role name. In the permission list on the right, select or deselect permission items of the role.
