Modifying the Session Timeout Duration for MRS Cluster Management Pages

FusionInsight Manager allows you to configure the timeout duration of the Manager pages. You can adjust the timeout duration according to your service requirements.

You need to set a proper web session timeout duration to avoid potential information leakage resulting from long-term web page exposure.

Notes and Constraints

This function is supported only by MRS 3.3.0 or later.

Changing the Session Timeout Duration

  1. Log in to FusionInsight Manager of the MRS cluster.

For details about how to log in to FusionInsight Manager, see Accessing MRS Manager.

  2. Choose System > OMS.
  3. In the list, locate the row that contains tomcat and click Modify Configuration.
  4. On the displayed page, set Session Timeout as required and click OK. Enter the user password and wait until the configuration to complete. Once done, the timeout setting will take effect for MRS Manager.

Set the minimum session duration based on service requirements. Otherwise, there will be security risks.
