Adding EIPs to or Removing EIPs from a Shared Bandwidth

Scenarios

You can add EIPs to a shared bandwidth as required to share the bandwidth and reduce public network bandwidth costs. You can also remove EIPs from a shared bandwidth.

You can add multiple EIPs to a shared bandwidth at the same time.

Constraints

  • Currently, yearly/monthly EIPs cannot be added to a shared bandwidth.

Adding EIPs to a Shared Bandwidth

  1. Go to the shared bandwidth list page.
  2. In the shared bandwidth list, locate the target shared bandwidth that you want to add EIPs to. In the Operation column, choose Add Public IP Address.
  3. On the Add Public IP Address page, select the EIPs or IPv6 addresses to be added.

After an EIP is added to a shared bandwidth, its dedicated bandwidth becomes invalid and the EIP starts using the shared bandwidth. The EIP's dedicated bandwidth is then deleted and no longer billed.

  4. Click OK.

Removing EIPs from a Shared Bandwidth

  1. Go to the shared bandwidth list page.
  1. In the shared bandwidth list, locate the row that contains the bandwidth from which EIPs are to be removed, choose More > Remove Public IP Address in the Operation column.
  2. On the Remove Public IP Address page, select the EIPs or IPv6 addresses to be removed.
  3. Configure the EIP bandwidth after the EIP is removed.
  4. Click OK.

An EIP remains unchanged after it is removed from a shared bandwidth. The EIP bandwidth is billed based on its billing mode before the EIP is added to the shared bandwidth.
