Managing Service Permissions
Scenario
After purchasing an individual package of CodeArts Req, CodeArts Repo, or CodeArts TestPlan, an administrator (with the Tenant Administrator role) can assign permissions to project members for each of these services on the Service Permission page.

Service permission management only applies to CodeArts Req, CodeArts Repo, and CodeArts TestPlan, as they are billed by number of users. Any member who joins a project can use CodeArts Check, CodeArts Build, CodeArts Deploy, and CodeArts Pipeline according to the purchase order.
- Members added to a project are automatically assigned access permissions according to the purchased service package. If the user quota of the package is reached, you can manually adjust user permissions on the Service Permission page.
For example, there are members A, B, C, D, and E in your team, and you have purchased a 2-user CodeArts Req package and a 3-user CodeArts Repo package. After creating a project, you add the five members to it in this order: A > B > C > D > E. In this case, A and B have permissions for both CodeArts Req and CodeArts Repo by default, C only has permissions for CodeArts Repo, and D and E do not have permissions for these services. As an administrator, you can enable or disable access for the five users on the Service Permissions page as required. However, you can enable access to CodeArts Req only for two users and enable access to CodeArts Repo only for three users.
- When you purchase a package for the first time, your users are automatically assigned service permissions by username in alphabetical order until the package quota is reached. When you purchase the same package again, the previous service permissions are retained for the relevant users.
For example, there are members A, B, C, D, and E in your team. You have purchased a 5-user CodeArts Req package, and have added 5 members to a project. If you purchase a 3-user CodeArts Repo package, A, B, and C have permissions for CodeArts Repo by default. As an administrator, you can cancel the access of A and B to CodeArts Repo, and enable the access to the same service for D and E. When the CodeArts Repo package expires, C, D, and E cannot access CodeArts Repo. If you purchase a 3-user CodeArts Repo package again, C, D, and E can continue to access CodeArts Repo.
