Granting Database Permissions
Scenarios
You can grant permissions to database users you have created to use specific databases or revoke permissions from specific database users.
Constraints
- Permissions cannot be granted to database users for a DB instance that is in the process of being restored.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Click
in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service. - On the Instances page, click the target instance name to go to the Overview page.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Databases and Accounts.
- On the Databases tab page, locate the target database and click Authorize in the Operation column.
- In the displayed dialog box, select unauthorized users and click
to authorize them or select authorized users and click
to revoke permissions. If no users are available, you can create one by referring to Creating a Database Account.
- Click OK.
