Can I Recover My Disk Data If the Disk Is Unsubscribed from, Deleted by Mistake, or Released After the Retention Period Ends?
Check whether a disk backup is available.
- If a backup is available, you can use it to restore data. If you use a backup to create a disk, the disk will contain the backup data in its initial state. For details, see Using a Backup to Create a Disk.
Disks created from backups do not need to be initialized. Initialization destroys any data that was on the disk.
- If no backups are available, the disk data cannot be recovered.
