Managing Quotas

Scenarios

To prevent resource abuse, the platform assigns quotas to service resources. You can apply for increasing your quota if necessary.

This section describes how to view the usage of database resources in a specified region and how to increase quotas.

Viewing Quotas

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page, choose Database > GaussDB(for MySQL).
  4. In the upper right corner of the console page, choose Resources > My Quotas.
  5. View the used and total quotas of GaussDB(for MySQL) resources.
  6. If the quotas cannot meet service requirements, click Increase Quota to adjust it.

Increasing Quotas

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page, choose Database > GaussDB(for MySQL).
  4. In the upper right corner of the console page, choose Resources > My Quotas.
  5. Click Increase Quota.
  6. Configure parameters if needed.

    In the Problem Description area, fill in the content and reason for quota adjustment.

  7. After all necessary parameters are configured, select the agreement and click Submit.
