Restarting a Database Proxy

Scenarios

After read/write splitting is enabled, you can restart the database proxy when necessary.

Constraints

Restarting the proxy interrupts the database connection, so restart it during off-peak hours.

Procedure

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
3. In the instance list, click the target instance name to go to the Overview page.
4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Database Proxy.
5. In the proxy information area, click Restart Proxy.
6. In the displayed dialog box, click OK.
