Overview of Private Certificate Application
Cloud Certificate Manager (CCM) is a private CA and certificate management platform. You can use CCM to set up a complete CA hierarchy and use it to issue and manage private certificates for your organization. It is used to authenticate application identities and encrypt and decrypt data within your organization.
Certificates issued by a private CA are trusted only within your organization, but not the Internet.

Create a private CA as required. If this is your first time creating a private CA, you must create a root CA. You can create multiple subordinate CAs under the existing root CA. |

A private root CA can be used to issue private certificates once it is created. A private subordinate CA must be activated before it is used to issue certificates. |

Apply for a private certificate with the activated private CA. |

4 |
After the application is approved, you can download the private certificate and install it on the server. |
