What Statuses Does the Agent Have?

The Agent has the following statuses:

  • Not installed or started: The Agent is not installed on an ECS or BMS or has been manually stopped.
  • Running: The Agent is running and can report monitoring data.
  • Faulty: The Agent failed to send a heartbeat message to Cloud Eye for three consecutive minutes. In this case:
  • Configuration error:
    • No agency has been configured for the ECS or BMS.
    • Permissions of the current agency are abnormal
    • The current agency is invalid.
    • The security group rule of the default NIC is incorrect, or the DNS configuration is incorrect.
  • Stopped: The Agent is manually stopped. To start it, see Managing the Agent.
