Can I Use CBR to Restore Data to Any Point When the Data Was Backed Up?

Yes. You can do as follows to verify this.

Procedure

  1. Log in to a server and create a file named test1.

  2. Log in to the CBR console and create a backup for the server.
  3. Log in to the server again and delete the test1 file.

  4. On the CBR console, use the server backup you created to restore data.
  5. Log in to the server and confirm that the data has been restored to the state when the backup was created.
