Changing EVS Disk Name
Scenarios
Disk names are used to identify disks. After a disk is created, you can perform operations in this section to change the disk name if needed.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Under Storage, click Elastic Volume Service.
The disk list page is displayed.
- Change the disk name in either of the following ways:
- Perform the following steps to change the disk name in the disk list:
- In the disk list, locate the target disk in the Disk Name column and click
to the right of the disk name. The Edit Disk Name dialog box is displayed.
- Enter a new name.
- Click OK.
After the change is successful, the new disk name is displayed in the disk list.
- In the disk list, locate the target disk in the Disk Name column and click
