Modifying the Bandwidth Size

Scenarios

You can modify the EIP bandwidth size, that is, increase or decrease the bandwidth size.

Modifying the bandwidth size has the following impacts on the price:
Table 1 Impacts after change

Billing Mode

Change

Impact

Pay-per-use

Increase or decrease bandwidth size

The change will take effect immediately.

Yearly/Monthly

Increase bandwidth

The change will take effect immediately and the increased bandwidth will be billed accordingly.

The following prices are for reference only. The actual prices are subject to Pricing Details.

On November 1, 2018, a customer purchased a one-month 1 Mbit/s bandwidth for CNY 18.4.

On November 24, 2018, the customer increased the bandwidth to 5 Mbit/s, at a monthly price of CNY 92.

The number of days remaining is 6, so the customer needs to pay CNY 14.72 (92/30 x 6 - 18.4/30 x 6 = CNY 14.72) for the upgrade.

For more information, see Pricing of a Changed Specification.

Decrease bandwidth upon renewal

The change will take effect in the first billing cycle after a successful renewal.

  • The renewal cannot be canceled once the payment is made.
  • The bandwidth cannot be modified in the first billing cycle.

Buy a bandwidth add-on package to temporarily increase the available bandwidth

You can buy a bandwidth add-on package to temporarily increase the bandwidth for any number of days within the bandwidth subscription period. When the add-on package expires, the bandwidth will automatically default to its original specifications.
