Viewing Details About an ECS in Tab View

Scenarios

The tab view provides visualized statistical results of ECS resources and statuses, helping you quickly learn about ECS information. In tab view, you can quickly obtain basic information, login information, configurations, and monitoring data of ECSs.

How to Switch to Tab View?

Perform the following operations to switch to tab view:

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
  3. Under Computing, click Elastic Cloud Server.

    The Elastic Cloud Server page is displayed.

  4. On the right side of the page, click the tab view icon shown in Figure 1.

    In the simplified view, you can view the information of each ECS, including the ECS name, login information, ECS configurations, and ECS monitoring data.

Viewing ECS Information in Tab View

The following table describes the information of an ECS in tab view.

Category

Description

Basic information

Includes the ECS name, ECS ID, and billing mode.

  • Pay-per-use ECS: more expensive than a yearly/monthly ECS. If the ECS is to be used for a long period of time, change the billing mode to Yearly/Monthly.
  • Yearly/Monthly ECS: The time when the ECS expires is displayed on the console. Additionally, the link for renewal is provided.

Login information

  • Remote Login: allows remote logins through the management console.
  • Log In Using Client: provides desired information for logging in to an ECS through the client, including the EIP, login username, and login instructions.

Configuration

Includes ECS specifications, image, system disk, data disk, private IP address, and EIP.

Monitoring information

Shows metrics related to ECS running, including CPU usage and network usage. You can check monitoring statistics graphs for an ECS during the last 1, 3, or 12 hours.

Overview of monitored data

In tab view, the health status of an ECS is monitored in terms of performance, security, and cost. When detecting an error, the system displays the error message and solution.
