Managing Edge Authentication Codes

To start or stop a Flink job on a Flink application deployed on an IEF edge node, you need to purchase an edge authentication code on DLI. The edge authentication code functions as the license of the edge Flink application.

Precautions

  • Price: CNY 20,000/year/node. Currently, you can only purchase a yearly package. The billing cycle starts when you successfully purchased the package.
  • Renewal and unsubscription are supported.
  • Only one edge node can be bound at a time. The edge node can start or stop jobs only after the authentication code is bound.
  • Unbinding the current node to bind a new one is supported.

If multiple nodes are bound and unbound repeatedly, the authentication code will be regarded as reuse by multiple nodes and locked.

  • If you do not renew the authentication code after it expires, the authentication code enters the frozen period. During the frozen period, you can stop the job but cannot start the job.

  2. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
