Viewing Traces
Scenarios
After you enable CTS, the system starts recording operations on cloud resources. You can view traces of the last seven days on the CTS console.
This topic describes how to query these records.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- On the console homepage, click
in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project. - Hover on
to display Service List and choose Management & Governance > Cloud Trace Service. - In the navigation pane on the left, click Trace List.
- Click Filter and specify filtering criteria as needed. The following filters are available:
- Trace Source, Resource Type, and Search By
Select a filter criterion from the drop-down list.
- If you select Trace name for Search By, you need to specify a trace name.
- If you select Resource ID for Search By, you need to specify a resource ID.
- If you select Resource name for Search By, you need to specify a resource name.
- Operator: Select a specific operator (at user level rather than tenant level).
- Trace Status: Select All trace statuses, Normal, Warning, or Incident.
- Time range: You can specify the time period to query traces.
- Trace Source, Resource Type, and Search By
- Click
on the left of the record to be queried to extend its details. - Locate a trace and click View Trace in the Operation column.
