How Do I Get and Use Cash Coupons?

After getting a cash coupon, you can use it to pay for a cloud service as required.

Important Notes

  • You can only use cash coupons to buy HUAWEI CLOUD products but not Marketplace products. For details, see the cash coupon applicable scope.
  • A cash coupon has usage limits. For details about how to view the usage limits, see Viewing Cash Coupons. To understand these limits, see Cash Coupon Usage Limits.
  • When paying an order, you can use only one cash coupon.
  • You cannot withdraw money from, transfer, or request invoices for cash coupons.
  • If your 5-day unconditional full-refund unsubscription is made within five days (including five days) after the subscription, and if you still have chances to make such unsubscriptions (10 times in total), used cash coupons can be returned to you. In other cases, used cash coupons cannot be returned.

Getting Cash Coupons

Cash coupons can be obtained in either of the following ways:

  • Online: Cash coupons obtained from the HUAWEI CLOUD official website, including those automatically issued to you by HUAWEI CLOUD and those you collect. When coupons are issued on the HUAWEI CLOUD official website, eligible customers can go to the promotional event page and obtain relevant coupons. Such cash coupons can be used directly without being activated.
  • Offline: Cash coupons (with a 16-digit activation code) obtained from the account manager or via other channels. You need to go to the Coupons and Discounts > Cash Coupons page of the Billing Center to activate these coupons before using them. Using Cash Coupons

  • Using a Cash Coupon to Pay an Order

    When you are paying for an order, all available cash coupons are displayed automatically. Select one of them for payment.

    If no cash coupons can be applied in your payment, no cash coupons will be displayed as a choice.

  • Using a Cash Coupon to Pay Your Pay-per-Use Products

    When provisioning pay-per-use products, you do not need to select cash coupons yourself because eligible coupons will be automatically applied.

    Cash coupons with usage limits will be preferentially used. For example, coupons with a limited product scope take precedence over those without. Under the same conditions, coupons that will first expire are preferred.
