How Can I Recover Data from a Disk That Was Accidentally Deleted?
First: Check whether the disk has any snapshots or backups created.
- If there are, use the snapshot or backup to restore the disk data to the state when the snapshot or backup was created. For details, see Rolling Back Data from a Snapshot (OBT) or Restoring from a Cloud Disk Backup.
If the disk was deleted after the last snapshot or backup was created, that incremental data cannot be restored.
- If there are not, the disk data cannot be restored.
Second: Check whether EVS recycle bin is enabled.
- If recycle bin is enabled and the deleted disk is in the recycle bin, you can recover the disk. For details, see Recovering a Disk from the Recycle Bin.
- If recycle bin is not enabled, the disk data cannot be restored.
