How Do I Test the Connectivity Between a VM and the Direct Connect Gateway After My Connection Is Created?

By default, the VM cannot ping the IP address range for network communication between the Direct Connect gateway and on-premises data center. The IP address range is the subnet where the remote gateway and local gateway reside.

To test the connectivity, you need to add the IP address range to the remote subnet of the virtual interface.
