Will the Traffic Pass Through WAF If Both CDN and WAF Are Configured?
There are two situations:
- If the requested content is found in the cache, the traffic does not pass through WAF. CDN directly serves the requested content.
- If the requested content is not found in the cache, the traffic passes through WAF and then reaches the origin server. See the following figure.
