Getting Started with CBH

  • This section describes how to use Cloud Bastion Host (CBH).
    CBH can collect and monitor the system status, security events, and network activities of each component in the network environment in real time. This ensures that the network and data are not intruded or damaged by external or internal users, facilitating centralized alarm reporting, timely handling, and auditing.
    After logging in to CBH, you need to create users, resources, and access policies in sequence to manage and maintain resources.

Step 1: Log In to the CBH Console

1. Log in to the management console.
2. On the console page, choose Service List > Security > Cloud Bastion Host.
3. Click Log In to the right of the instance.
4. Log in to CBH as prompted. The default username is admin, and the login password is the password that is manually set when you apply for an instance.

Access the cache instance.

Read and write cached data.

Step 2: Create a User

1. In the navigation tree on the left, choose User > User and click New.
2. Create a user as prompted and click OK.

Step 3: Create Resources

1. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Resource > Host and click New.
2. Configure network parameters and basic information for the O&M host, and click Next.
3. Configure the account information about the O&M host and click OK.

Note

The login modes of resource accounts are as follows:

Auto Login: You need to configure a resource account name and password. When logging in to the resource again, you do not need to enter the account name and password.
Manual Login: When logging in to a resource, you need to enter the account name and password.
Sudo Login: When a common user logs in to a resource host, the account of the user automatically switches to a privileged account.

Step 4: Create an Access Control Policy

1. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Policy > ACL Rules and click New.
2.Configure basic policy information and click Next.
3. Associate a user or user group and click Next.
4. Associate a resource account or account group and click OK.

Step 5: Log In to a Resource

1.  In the navigation tree on the left, choose Operation > Host Ops, and then select the resource to be logged in to.
2.Click Login corresponding to the resource to log in to the resource.
