        Key information about changes of the funds in users' HUAWEI CLOUD accounts. The account statements are collected based on the top-up account, credit account, cash coupons, and special coupons.

        activation code

        A code used for activating couples Users use the activation code to activate coupons. Coupons can be used only after being activated. (If coupons are issued offline, users need to activate these coupons using activation codes. Coupons issued online by the system do not need to be activated.)

        actual payment

        The actual payment is equal to the total amount minus the amount of cash coupons. That is, it is the sum of the expenditures paid using the credit account, cash account, flexi-purchase coupons, and stored value cards.

        amount due

        HUAWEI CLOUD settles and bills the expenditures of postpaid customers for the current billing cycle each month. The amount due is the amount that customers should pay to HUAWEI CLOUD.

        arrears amount

        Consumption amount a user fails to pay due to insufficient account balance in a specified period.

        arrears written-off

        When a user's account is in arrears, the system automatically writes off the overdue amount after the user tops up the account.

        auto renewal

        The user permission of products is automatically extended according to the period set by users.

        credit limit

        Remaining amount of a user's credit account, which can be used to pay for the user's consumption amount.

        credit line

        HUAWEI CLOUD provides a certain amount of consumption quota for quality customers that meet the requirements. These customers can use the services first and pay for the services later. The credit line can be used circularly. After the customer pays off the bill, the credit limit can be restored.

          invoice method

          Request an invoice from HUAWEI CLOUD by order or by bill cycle. Request an invoice by order: Select a paid order and the invoice amount is automatically generated. Request an invoice by bill cycle: Select a bill cycle and the invoice amount is automatically generated.

          Name of the buyer (a company or an individual).

          invoice type

          HUAWEI CLOUD provides special VAT invoices and common VAT invoices. Special VAT invoices can only be purchased and used by general VAT taxpayers.               Extending the user permission for products that customers have purchased.

              resource

              Resources refer to physical or logical sources or supplies (such as equipment, IP addresses, and ports) used in marketing or customer services. Material objects that HUAWEI CLOUD sells or gives as gifts to users are also resources.

              resource specifications

              Resource specification is a set of attributes and attribute values. It describes characteristics of resources required for cloud services. Specifications of different-type resources contain different attributes. Specifications of resources of the same type contain the same attributes but different attribute values.

              resource type

              A level of the resource management model For management convenience, resources are categorized according to certain logics, and Resource Type is a level in this categorization model. In public cloud operation, Resource Type usually refers to the type of the resource used.

              retention period

              If a user does not renew the yearly/monthly subscribed resource or pay off the arrears of the pay-per-use resource before the grace period expires, the resource enters the retention period after the grace period expires.During the retention period, customers cannot access or use the cloud service, but the data stored in cloud service is still reserved. After the retention period expires, the resource will be automatically deleted.

                unsubscribe from a renewal period

                After renewing a periodically subscribed product, customers can unsubscribe from the renewal period before the renewal takes effect.

                unsubscription

                Before a periodically subscribed product expires, the customer terminates the transaction relationship with HUAWEI CLOUD. For an unsubscription, HUAWEI CLOUD returns the fees for the remaining days of the period based on the unsubscription rules, and deletes the product instances and resources.

                usage

                Product or resource usage in a certain period, including the usage duration, capacity usage, usage times, and traffic usage.
