Overview

Users who have a large amount of data stored at third-party cloud vendors need to download data to a local server, and then upload the data to OBS using OBS Console or other clients. The entire process is time- and labor-consuming, and problems such as missing transmission and incorrect transmission may occur.

To address these problems, HUAWEI CLOUD provides two migration services, OMS and CDM. With the migration services, you only need to configure connection parameters and migration tasks on the Console. Then, you can easily and smoothly migrate data from third-party cloud service providers to OBS. Table 1 describes the migration solutions. You can select either one based on your needs.

Back to Source by Mirroring (under beta testing)

Scenarios where data is seamlessly migrated to OBS. That is, service data is stored on the origin server created by the user and needs to be migrated to OBS without interrupting services.
