Applying for a Service

Before using Image Recognition, you must apply for your desired services of Image Recognition. The following is the procedure for applying for services of Image Recognition.

  • Before applying for any service of Image Recognition, apply for a HUAWEI CLOUD account and complete real-name authentication.
  • If you use Image Recognition for the first time, apply for your desired services first. You only need to apply for a service once.
  1. Log in to the HUAWEI CLOUD product page and click Console in the upper right corner. The Console page is displayed.
  2. Click Service List and choose EI Enterprise Intelligence > Image Recognition. The Image Recognition management console is displayed.
  3. On the Service List or Service Management page, select the service you want to subscribe to, and click Subscribe in the right pane.
  4. To subscribe to your desired services on the Service Management page, select the services in the Commercial Services or Beta Services area in the Unsubscribed Services area. To apply for a beta service, go to 5. To subscribe to a commercial service, go to 6.

  5. Click Apply for Open Beta Test.

    • The OBT application is manually reviewed. Generally, it takes one to two days for approval. In the case of holidays, the approval may take longer.

  6. Click Apply for Service.
  7. After the OBT or service application is approved, the service is enabled.
