API Gateway is a high-performance, high-availability, and high-security API hosting service that helps enterprises build, manage, and deploy Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) at any scale.
This document describes how to use REST APIs to perform operations on API Gateway, such as creating, deleting, and modify your own APIs. For details about all supported operations, see API Overview.
If you plan to access API Gateway through APIs, ensure that you are familiar with API Gateway concepts. For details, see the Service Overview.
Dedicated API gateways now provide V2 APIs for certain functions. It is recommended that you use V2 APIs to manage your service APIs.
