Scenarios

You can set different roles for the databases in an instance and grant corresponding rights to the roles, improving data management security performance.

Prerequisites

You have obtained the login permission and logged in to the database management page.

Procedure

  1. On the top menu bar, choose User Management > Login Name. The login name management list is displayed.

    • Click Create Login Name. On the displayed tab, set the general information, such as the server role, user mapping, securables, and status, and then click Save.
    • You can edit, rename, or delete a created login name.
