Billing Scenario

At 16:00:00 on March 18, 2023, you purchased a pay-per-use DDM instance at CN-Hong Kong. The DDM instance configuration is as follows:

  • Instance specifications: General-enhanced, 8 vCPUs | 16 GB
  • Nodes: 2
  • EIP bandwidth: 6 Mbit/s

After a period of time, the current instance no longer met service requirements. The specifications were upgraded to 16 vCPUs and 32 GB of memory at 9:00:00 on March 20, 2023. As you intended to use the DDM instance for a long time, you changed the billing mode from pay-per-use to yearly/monthly at 10:30:00 on March 20, 2023. The subscription duration was one month. How much would you be billed for the DDM instance in March and April?

Price in the pay-per-use phase

  1. You would be billed for the DDM instance from 16:00:00 on March 18, 2023 to 9:00:00 on March 20, 2023, based on 8 vCPUs and 16 GB memory. The billed duration would be 41 hours. The billed duration of each resource was as follows.

  2. You would be billed for the DDM instance from 9:00:00 on March 20, 2023 to 10:30:00 on March 20, 2023 based on 16 vCPUs and 32 GB of memory. The billing period would be 1.5 hours. The billed duration of each resource was as follows.

Price in the yearly/monthly phase

From 10:30:00 on March 20, 2023 to 23:59:59 on April 20, 2023, the billing mode was yearly/monthly. The billing period was 1 month. The price was calculated as follows.
