Description
WLAN/4/AP_STP_AUTO_SHUTDOWN:OID [OID] Interface has turned into DOWN state. (APMAC=[OPAQUE], APName=[STRING], ApIfIndex=[INTEGER], ApEntityPhysicalName=[OCTET], APID=[INTEGER])
An alarm is generated when STP detects a local loopback and triggers port shutdown.

Impact on the System
When STP detects a local loopback, it determines that a network storm occurs and will trigger shutdown of the local interface to prevent the storm from affecting services on the entire network; however, services on the shutdown interface will be interrupted.
Possible Causes
After STP detects a loopback on an interface, the device shuts down the interface to prevent a loop.
Procedure
- Check whether local loopback is configured on the interface where the alarm is generated.

- Check whether a hub is incorrectly connected on the network connected to the interface.

- Collect alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
- Delete configurations that cause the local loopback.
- Remove the self-looped cable.
