Service Versions

A service version provides a range of functional and non-functional specifications that hold for that version of the service. You can define service routing rules to route a percentage of traffic to backend instances of that version. You can also use traffic policies to define service groups with different version labels.

Viewing a Service Version

  1. Log in to the UCS console. In the navigation pane, choose Service Meshes.
  2. Click the name of the target service mesh to go to its details page.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Service Center > Mesh Services.
  4. Click the service name and then click the tab for displaying service discovery.
  5. View the service version.
  6. Click Monitoring in the Operation column to view the following information:

    • Inbound throughput (RPS)
    • Outbound throughput (RPS)
    • Average latency
    • Outbound traffic error rate
    • Inbound traffic error rate
