Application Scenarios

CBR enables you to back up ECSs and disks with ease. In case of a virus attack, accidental deletion, or software or hardware fault, you can restore data to any point in the past when the data was backed up. For details, see CBR Backup Overview. Backups are less costly than data recovery after data loss.

Create backups for your ECSs. For details, see Creating a Server Backup. Set an automatic backup policy to meet compliance requirements. For details, see Policy Management Overview.

Rule Logic

If an ECS is associated with an available backup vault, this ECS is compliant.
If an ECS is not associated with an available backup vault, this ECS is non-compliant.
