Viewing Resource Relationships

Scenarios

Resource relationships track associations between Huawei Cloud resources, such as attaching an EVS disk to an ECS or deploying an ECS in a VPC.

Understanding these dependencies and compositions improves resource management efficiency. Practical applications include:

• For network O&M, check which resources are using a VPC before deleting it to ensure that the deletion does not interrupt other services.
• For cost optimization, verify whether EVS disks and EIPs are attached to resources to avoid unnecessary expenditures.

The Associated Resources tab on the resource overview page displays only the relationships between the resources supported by Config. See Relationships with Supported Resources for more information.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Config console.
2. On the Resource List page, click the name of a target resource.
3. Click the Associated Resources tab.

   Hover over the name of an associated resource to view resource information and resource relationships.

   For each service, you can filter resources by resource ID or resource name.
