Restarting a Database Proxy
Scenarios
After read/write splitting is enabled, you can restart the database proxy when necessary.
Constraints
To restart a database proxy, you need to contact customer service to apply for required permissions.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select a region.
- Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
- On the Instances page, click the DB instance name.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Database Proxy.
- On the displayed page, click Restart Proxy in the proxy information area.
- In the displayed dialog box, click OK.
Restarting the proxy interrupts the database connection. You are advised to restart it during off-peak hours.
