Deleting a Policy Node from a Route Policy

Scenarios

This section describes how to delete a node from a route policy.

Notes and Constraints

  • Route policies change the path through which network traffic passes. If a route policy has already been associated with an enterprise router, evaluate the impact on services before deleting its nodes.
  • Each route policy must contain at least one node. If you want to delete the last node from a route policy, you can add a node and then delete the last node.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
  3. Click Service List and choose Networking > Enterprise Router.

The Enterprise Router homepage is displayed.

  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Routing Control > Route Policies.

The Route Policies page is displayed.

  5. Click the name of the target route policy.

    The node list is displayed.

  6. In the node list, perform the following operations to delete a node:

    • To delete a single node, locate the node you want to delete and click Delete in the Operation column.

A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

    • To delete multiple nodes, select the nodes and click Delete in the upper left corner of the list.

A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  7. Confirm the information and click OK.

    Deleted nodes cannot be recovered.
