R&D Requirement Status Transition Process

The lifecycle of an R&D requirement consists of the Initial, Analyzing, Developing, Testing, and Completed states. Figure 1 shows the complete status transition process.

Table 1 describes the operations in each status.

Initial

When an R&D requirement is created, the state is Initial by default.

Analyzing

After the R&D requirement in the Initial state is handled, the state changes to Analyzing.

Developing

After the R&D requirement is analyzed, the state changes to Developing.

Testing

After the R&D requirement is developed, the state changes to Testing.

Completed

After the R&D requirement passes the test, the state changes to Completed.
