Deleting a Proxy Instance

Constraints

If a proxy instance is deleted, read/write splitting is disabled and workloads using the proxy address are interrupted. You need to switch your applications to the DB instance address.

Procedure

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
3. Click in the upper left corner of the page, choose Databases > GaussDB(for MySQL).
4. On the Instances page, click the instance name.
5. In the navigation pane, choose Database Proxy.
6. Select the target proxy instance and choose More > Delete in the Operation column.
7. In the displayed dialog box, click Yes.
