Checking EVS Snapshot Details
Scenarios
You can check the snapshot details, including the region and AZ, source disk information, and tags.
Checking Snapshot Details
- Sign in to the EVS console.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Elastic Volume Service > Snapshots.
The Snapshots page is displayed.
- In the snapshot list, locate the target snapshot.
For a standard snapshot: Click the snapshot name to view the snapshot details on the Basic Information tab.
For a legacy snapshot: Select the snapshot and check the snapshot details at the bottom of the page.

Rolling back |
The snapshot is being used to roll back data.

Backing up |
This status only shows up for temporary snapshots. When you create a backup for an EVS disk, a temporary snapshot is automatically created. This status indicates that a temporary snapshot is being created during the backup creation.
NOTE:
Temporary snapshots are created through the CBR service. Do not perform any operation on these snapshots. |
