Creating an Alarm Rule

Scenario

You can customize the monitored objects and notification policies by setting alarm rules to learn the status of an exclusive cluster in a timely manner.

An alarm rule includes the alarm rule name, monitored object, metric, threshold, monitoring interval, and whether to send notifications. This section describes how to create an alarm rule.

Procedure

1. Access the DataArts DataService Exclusive console and choose Clusters. Locate a cluster, click More in the Operation column, and select View Metric from the drop-down list.
2. Click the back button in the upper left corner to access the Details page. Locate a DataArts DataService cluster, click More in the Operation column, and select Create Alarm Rule.

3. Set the alarm rule for the DataArts DataService Exclusive cluster as prompted.
4. After the setting is complete, click Confirm. When an alarm that meets the rule is generated, the system automatically sends a notification.
