Adding a Reviewer

A reviewer must be a member who has the review permissions in the current workspace. You can edit and add workspace members in Workspaces on the DataArts Studio homepage.

1. Log in to the DataArts Studio console by following the instructions in Accessing the DataArts Studio Instance Console.
2. On the DataArts Studio console, locate a workspace and click DataArts Architecture.
3. In the navigation pane, choose Configuration Center. On the displayed page, click Reviewers.
4. On the Reviewer Management tab page, click Add.
5. Select a reviewer, enter their mobile number and email address, and click OK.

   The reviewer must be admins and developers of the current workspace, because only admins and developers have the review permissions of the workspace.

   

   • You can only select reviewers from the given list. To enable a user to be available in the given list, add the user as a workspace member in Workspaces on the DataArts Studio homepage.
   • If you select SMS or Email for Notification Type, DataArts Studio automatically creates a topic in SMN after the reviewer is added.
     • The topic name is in the following format: DataArts_Subject_Reviewer_Project name_Project ID-dlg_ds_Reviewer name.

   You can add multiple reviewers if needed.

Related Operations

On the DataArts Architecture page, choose Configuration Center in the left navigation pane. On the displayed page, click the Reviewers tab to manage reviewers.

• Searching for a reviewer

  In the upper right corner of the reviewer list, enter the name of the reviewer you are looking for and click .

• Deleting a reviewer

  In the reviewer list, select the reviewer you want to delete, and click Delete.

Adding SMN Subscriptions

This function allows the notifications of publishing review requests in DataArts Architecture to be reported to your management system. You can view the IDs and content of the received notifications, and call the review management APIs of DataArts Architecture to review the requests.

The SMN subscription function is disabled by default. Enable this function and add an SMN subscription if you want to allow the notifications of publishing review requests in DataArts Architecture to be reported to your management system.

Constraints:

1. In the self-service review scenario, no notification is sent to your system.
2. DataArts Architecture is not interconnected with your system. Instead, it sends notifications to your system through SMN over HTTPS.
3. SMN HTTPS must be supported.

To add an SMN subscription, perform the following steps:

1. In the navigation pane, choose Configuration Center. On the displayed page, click the Reviewers tab.
2. Click Add SMN Subscription.
3. In the displayed dialog box, set SMN Topic and Associated Reviewers. You can select multiple reviewers.
4. Click Confirm to add the SMN subscription. The added SMN subscription is displayed in the SMN subscription list.
   

   SMN topic subscription is enabled by default. If you do not want notifications to be sent to your system, you can disable this function.

More operations on SMN subscriptions

• Click Edit to modify the associated reviewers of an SMN subscription.
• Click Delete to delete SMN subscriptions. You can delete multiple SMN subscriptions at a time.
• You can query SMN subscriptions by keyword.
