Creating a Calling Number Group

To facilitate the management of calling numbers, you can set calling number groups. In this way, you can easily select a specific calling number to execute an outbound call task.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the AICC as a tenant administrator and choose Configuration Center > Call Config > Caller Number Group.
  2. Click . In the Create Number Group dialog box that is displayed, set parameters by referring to Table 1.

    Number Group Name

    Enter the number group feature, such as the region and position.

    1. The value can contain a maximum of 100 characters.
    2. If the tenant parameter Has the tenant enabled inter-organization data isolation enforcement is set to Yes, the number group name must be unique in the same OU. If the parameter is set to No, the number group name must be unique in the same tenant space.

    Organization Unit

    Select an OU.

    If the tenant parameter Has the tenant enabled inter-organization data isolation enforcement is set to Yes, the OU is mandatory. If this parameter is set to No, the OU is optional.

  3. Click .
  4. Click Maintenance Number. On the Caller number list tab page that is displayed, click Add to add a calling number.

    1. A maximum of 10,000 calling numbers can be selected from a calling number group.
    2. Calling number groups cannot be referenced by manual assignment outbound call tasks and manual outbound call tasks.
    3. The maximum number of calling number groups in the same OU is restricted by the tenant parameter Maximum number of caller number groups in the same organization. The default value is 100. To adjust the number, choose Configuration Center > System Management > Tenant Parameter and adjust the parameter value.
