Configuring Mobile Number Clearance Verification

Scenarios

To prevent users from accidentally deleting bound mobile numbers, you can enable the SMS verification feature for phone number clearance. With this enabled, a bound mobile number can be removed only after the user successfully completes SMS verification.

Prerequisites

The role you belong to has the management permission for the System module. For details about how to check the permissions of each role, see Role.

Enabling/Disabling Mobile Number Clearance Verification

  1. Log in to your bastion host system.
  2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose System > System Config > Security.
  3. In the Mobile Phone Number Clearing Config area, click Edit.
  4. Toggle Clear Before SMS Verification on or off and click OK.
