RES10-01 Isolating the Control Plane from the Data Plane
The data plane processes services and has high availability requirements. The control plane does not directly process services, so its failure should not affect the service system.
- Risk level
High
- Key strategies
- If the control plane becomes faulty, isolate the control plane from the data plane to prevent the fault from affecting services.
- Ensure the data plane can be recovered independently of the control plane. This prevents service system recovery failures caused by control plane faults.
